The Bulk Patient Search functionality is similar to that of a Patient Request. However, the Bulk Patient Search functionality allows users to enter multiple patients at once rather than one at a time. With this functionality, users can enter patient names manually or via CSV file upload.
To perform a Bulk Patient Search, click Menu > Bulk Patient Search.
Entering Patient Information Manually
Ensure Manual Entry is selected and complete the required fields denoted with a red asterisk.
Once all required fields are entered for the first patient, click Add to add additional patients.
Save the file to the user's local computer once all required patient information has been entered. When naming your file, do not include spaces in the name.
Click Choose File, select the created file, and click Validate Format to download a validation report and ensure all records were entered correctly.
Any errors identified in the patient data entered will be listed in the Errors column of the validation report. Correct the identified errors and resubmit the file. Repeat this process until all errors have been correct and no more errors display in the Errors column of the validation report.

Once the file has been validated and contains no errors, enter a name in the Group Name field to easily distinguish the search from others in the Bulk Patient History tab.
Enter the desired time-frame to be searched in the From and To fields using the MM/DD/YYYY format.
If other states should be included in a search, click the checkbox next to the desired state(s) in the PMP InterConnect Search section of the page, and click Search.
A success message will display indicating your search is being processed.
Performing a Bulk Patient Search via File Upload
Click on File Upload to display the File Upload page.
Click the View Sample File to download a copy of the sample CSV file and enter the patient's first name, last name, and date of birth as these are required fields. The patient's zip code can be entered, however, it is not recommended as it can narrow the query.
Save the sample file to the user's computer. Do not include spaces in the file name.
Click Choose File, select the recently created file, and click Validate Format to download a validation report to ensure all records have been entered correctly.

Viewing Bulk Patient Search Results
To view Bulk Patient Search results, or results of a previous bulk patient search, navigate to Menu > Bulk Patient Search and click on the Bulk Patient History tab.
Click the Bulk Search Name to view the results of that search. Clicking the patient's name will display the patient's search details below the table.
From this page, users can click Download PDF to export their results, click View to display the Patient Report, or click Refresh to to run a current Patient Report.
