This page outlines how a delegate can register for PMP AWARxE. A delegate is a role that has the capability to perform Patient Rx Searches on behalf of another registered user. Some users in PMP AWARxE will only serve as delegates of other users, while other roles can have the option of acting as a delegate for another user. Examples of possible delegate roles include Delegate, Registered Nurses, Medical Interns, and Physician Assistants. Delegates are configured by your State Administrator, so these examples may not be applicable in all states.

Select User Role
Navigate to your state's PMP AWARxE web address. (e.g. https://arkansas.pmpaware.net/login)
Click "Create an Account". You will need to input a preferred e-mail address which will be your PMP AWARxE account e-mail address and the e-mail address you will use to log in to PMP AWARxE.
You must provide a password in the Password and Password Confirmation fields. The password requirements include a minimum of eight characters, at least one upper case letter, at least one lower case letter, at least one special character (!, @, #, $, etc.), and a maximum of 255 characters.
After entering an e-mail address and password, click "Save and Continue".
Select the "Healthcare Professional" drop down menu. In the drop down menu, you must select your appropriate role. This could be "Prescriber Delegate - Unlicensed" or "Pharmacist's Delegate - Unlicensed", etc. If you do not see your role, ensure that you are on a compatible browser.
If you are unsure of which role to select, reach out to your State Administrator
Once you select a role, click "Save and Continue".
Create an Account
You must enter your personal and employer information as configured by your PMP State Administrator. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
You may be able to search for your personal and employer information using search boxes for different identifiers (DEA, NCPDP, or NPI). You will need to enter your employer's DEA number if you do not have one.
In the Delegate section, you must enter your supervisor's PMP AWARxE account e-mail address in the Email field and then click "Add". If you have questions about how many supervisors you can have, reach out to your State Administrator.
In order for you to register, your supervisor must have an approved PMP AWARxE account.
The PMP AWARxE application does not restrict the number of supervisors a delegate may enter, but some states have implemented limits to how many supervisors a delegate can have.
To complete your registration, select "Submit Your Registration".
You will not be able to perform patient searches until the State Administrator and your supervisor has approved your account.
E-mail Verification
You will receive a verification e-mail to the e-mail address supplied during registration. Click the link within the verification e-mail; doing so verifies your e-mail address so that the State Administrator may approve your account.
The verification link expires within 20 minutes of being sent. If this occurs, you can click the expired link and enter your e-mail address to create a new verification e-mail.
Account Approval
Your account will require approval by the State Administrator and your supervisor. You will receive an email once the State Administrator has approved or rejected your account.
Troubleshooting Steps
If you receive an 'invalid e-mail' error message review the "I'm Experiencing an Error" help pages.
Ensure you are on a compatible browser.
