If enabled by the PDMP, a variety of different icons and flags may be present on a Patient Report. If an icon or flag is present, hovering over the icon will display additional help text for interpretation.
The following are icons and/or flags that may be present on a Patient Report:
- Contested Record Flag
- Diagnosis Code
- Partial Fill
- Treatment Type
- Animal Prescription

Contested Records
The Contested Records flag is is an optional PDMP-enabled feature that allows the PDMP to place a flag on a dispensation record in the Prescription Details section of the Patient Report, indicating additional review into the dispensation’s validity and/or accuracy is needed. If enabled and applied, this flag will be displayed in the Drug column next to the drug's name. Hovering over the flag will display additional help text.

Contested Record flags are only viewable to authorized users if the PDMP has visibility enabled. Contested Record flags may only be added or removed by the PDMP. For information on how to have a Contested Record flag removed, please contact the PDMP. |
Diagnosis Code
The Diagnosis Code (ICD 10) icon is an optional PDMP-enabled feature that allows the PDMP to display an icon if a diagnosis code was submitted with the dispensation. If enabled and provided, this icon will be displayed in the Drug column beneath the drug name on the Patient Report. Hovering over the icon will display additional information for the specific diagnosis code.
Partial Fill
The Partial Fill icon is an optional PDMP-enabled feature that allows the PDMP to display an icon if a dispensation was submitted as a split or partial fill. If enabled and applicable, this icon will be displayed in the Rx # column next to the prescription number on the Patient Report. Hovering over the icon will display additional help text.
Treatment Type
The Treatment Type icon is an optional PDMP-enabled feature that allows the PDMP to display an icon if treatment type was submitted with the dispensation. If enabled and provided, this icon will be displayed in the Daily Dose column on the Patient Report. Hovering over the icon will display additional information about the treatment type.
Animal Prescription
The Animal Prescription icon is an option PDMP-enabled feature that allows the PDMP to display an icon if the dispensation submitted was for an animal. If enabled and applicable, this icon will be displayed in the Drug column beneath the drug name. Hovering over the icon will display additional help text.
