Mobile Phone Password Reset is an optional PDMP-enabled feature that provides users with the ability to reset their PMP AWARxE passwords via a text message to a registered mobile phone.
Adding or Changing a Mobile Phone Number
For users to utilize Mobile Phone Password Reset, their role must have the mobile phone number field enabled by the PDMP for access on their PMP AWARxE account. If enabled by the PDMP, users may enter and/or update their mobile phone number at any time by going to Contact Information in My Profile. Users will be required to enter their password to update their mobile phone number in My Profile.
Using Mobile Phone Password Reset
If enabled by the PDMP, users may select their mobile phone number for use during password reset. On the PMP AWARxE login screen, select the Reset Password link, enter the email address associated with the account, then click Continue.
If a mobile phone number is associated with the PMP AWARxE account, the user will have the option to select whether they want to reset their password via text to the mobile phone number associated with the account or via the email associated with the account.
To leverage Mobile Phone Password Reset, users should choose the text a code option, enter the verification code they receive via text message, then proceed with changing their password.
Mobile Phone Password Reset Troubleshooting
- If users need further assistance logging into their PMP AWARxE account, additional support instructions can be found at Password Management and Login Assistance.
- To ensure receipt of important system and PDMP notifications, the email associated to the PMP AWARxE account must be verified. Users who are not consistently receiving notifications should submit a ticket with the Bamboo Health Support Center to confirm verification of their email address or to request a new email verification be sent.
- If users no longer having access to the mobile phone number and email address associated with their PMP AWARxE account, and therefore, cannot access their PMP AWARxE account, they must contact the PDMP directly for assistance.
