The goal of Bamboo Health's Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) indicator is to enhance clinical decision-making by giving providers greater visibility into a patient’s substance use disorder (SUD) treatment status and dispensations/administrations, while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
OTP Participation Integration
The OTP Participation Integration enables OTP central registries or individual programs to securely submit patient OTP participation data to the PDMP for display in the State Indicator tile of the Patient Report. The Patient Report indicator for OTP participation is static text with presets that populate the facility name and phone number. Patient consent is managed by the OTP and only patients who have given consent are to be sent. To prevent outdated information from presenting, a discharge status for the record is sent which deletes the record and removes the indicator from the Patient Report.
| Patient Report layouts may vary depending on the configurations enabled by the PDMP administrator. |
| If there are questions pertaining to the OTP indicator or items that are displaying on the Patient Report, please contact the applicable PDMP Administrator. |
