Where This Appears
State Indicator Tile
The Opioid Antidote Administered (#) indicator appears in the State Indicators section of the Patient Report.
- The number shown (#) represents the total number of reported administrations for the patient.
- Hovering over the indicator displays the most recent administration date.
| Indicator name and display may vary slightly depending on the PDMP’s configuration. |
Integrated Patient Records Tile
If enabled by the PDMP, detailed records may be available in the Integrated Patient Records section of the Patient Report.
- Each row represents a reported administration event.
- The total number of records should align with the number shown in the indicator.
- Available columns are configurable and may vary by PDMP.
Data Sources and Reporting
Opioid antidote administration data may be reported by a variety of entities depending on the PDMP, including healthcare providers, emergency medical services (EMS), law enforcement, and other first responders or public health partners.
Data is received on varying cadences based on the reporting source and the PDMP’s ingestion schedule. As a result, recent administrations may not appear immediately.
Important Considerations
- This information is intended to support, not replace, clinical decision-making.
- Not all administrations may be captured, depending on reporting participation and data availability.
- Differences in data formatting and completeness may occur across reporting entities.
Missing or Incorrect Information
